About Me
I’m Darin Lawson Hosking, a systems thinker, technologist, and civic innovator with more than 30 years of experience in IT, training, and organizational leadership. My career has taken me from managing enterprise networks and data centers to leading global teams in the Philippines, where I turned around failing operations and built high-performing programs adopted worldwide.
I am an “Adaptive Strategist”—someone whose core type is INTJ, but who can flex into ENTJ leadership or INFJ advocacy without losing integrity.
At the core of my work is a belief that technology should serve the common good. I’ve designed solutions that bridge technical expertise with ethical frameworks—whether that’s developing training programs that lift entire teams, scaling digital platforms for small businesses, or creating civic projects like the Shoebox School, a low-cost education device for underserved communities.
Today, I run The Moral Algorithm, a platform dedicated to evaluating policy and governance through timeless ethical principles drawn from John Adams, John Rawls, and Aristotle. My mission is simple but ambitious: to align governance, economics, and human flourishing with first principles of justice, sustainability, and the common good.
